Noel Corkery | MLA MBA BSc(For)
Noel is Managing Director of Corkery Consulting, a Registered Landscape Architect and AILA Fellow with qualifications and experience in landscape architecture, business administration and forestry, both in Australia and overseas. Noel brings to projects the knowledge gained through management of numerous large scale environmental planning and landscape design projects over a period of more than 30 years. His combination of professional qualifications and project experience allow Noel to maintain a comprehensive overview of cross-disciplinary projects and manage the individual roles of team members.
Noel is past National President and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects. He is registered under Category U1 of the RMS Consultant Panel.
Linda Corkery | MLA MRP BSc
Linda is a Director of Corkery Consulting, Associate Professor and Program Director of Landscape Architecture in the Faculty of Built Environment, UNSW. Linda brings to our team at set of specialist skills in public domain planning and children/youth environments that draw on both her academic research and consulting background.
Linda’s experience includes coordination of research, preparation of discussion papers and published articles addressing issues of planning, management and use of the public domain and parklands. Her research is focused on the role of public open space and parklands, as key components of green urban infrastructure, in relation to community health and well-being.
Linda is a member of the NSW Commission for Children and Young People Built Environment Advisory Panel, a member of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority’s Parklands Advisory Committee and Australasia Representative of the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA).
Terry Boyle | BLArch Hons 1, AssocDip AppSc (Landscape), Hort Cert AILA
Terry is a Registered Landscape Architect with extensive project experience that includes site assessment, visual impact assessment, landscape design and documentation for infrastructure, open space projects, rehabilitated sites and residential developments. Terry has extensive plant knowledgeable gained from more than 15 years in the nursery industry prior to her landscape architecture degree.
Terry’s experience includes tree assessment and development of an interactive plant database for Sydney Water that contains a 1000 species suitable for particular regions of Sydney.
Ben Danks | BLA (current student), Assoc. Dip. Hort. – Landscape Design | AILA Student Member
Ben is a qualified landscape designer who has worked in the landscape industry for ten years. His professional experience includes design, documentation and construction supervision of projects in both the public and private sectors. Since joining Corkery Consulting Ben has worked on a range of projects that include highways, parks, open space and playgrounds. The scope of his involvement has included visual impact assessment, concept design and documentation of landscape works. Ben has well developed design and computer graphics skills combined with extensive plant knowledge.
